Tennessee Department of Transportation cameras captured a harrowing tractor trailer crash on I-40 this week.

The crash occurred on the evening of Tuesday, July 30, in Roane County,

A tractor trailer traveling on eastbound I-40 jackknifed near mile marker 342. The truck crashed through the guardrail and down a steep embankment.

According to local outlet BBB TV12, the driver survived without serious injury.
